Oktoberfest at Dish

My friend and I were looking for some fun on friday night and decided to venture to Dish restaurant in the area as had heard great things about it... They happened to be serving their Oktoberfest which meant we got to chow down on everything from bratwurst to sauerbraten... they also had a great list of really unique beers!
the staff were really friendly and the whole vibe of the place was really fun

Dish does not disappoint - ever! Whatever they do their is good all the time. Hannah, the proprietor, works such magic, that no matter what she puts in her soups, they are always delectable! Plus the place has a great vibe, especially on Friday or Sat. nights–– young people drinking boutique beers, sitting at the counter, or bar. And others, clearly sophisticated diners, at the tables. I go with my family (that includes 2 young daughters) and we even fit in very well. A great place for everyone. Cool for young single types and very comfortable for families as well. They are really nailing it!

They also have a great catering menu and a captivating wine list. Nothing negative to say about Dish. Quite the contrary! They are a model for Mahopac dining NOW. Every local restaurant can and should take lessons from DISH!

A friend went to Dish on Monday 11/30 and said their is going to be having live music this Saturday, Dec 5th from 7-10PM and Sunday, December 13th from 6-9PM. Local singer and songwriter James Kerr (local guitarist) www.jameskerrmusic.com will be performing.
